Distributed Journeys: Answering the Call

Because God has called us to serve and be His witnesses throughout the world, Distributed Journeys are offered to help us achieve His command. Distributed Journeys focus on serving with our church partners and Northland supported missionaries to enhance and encourage their outreaches, and to build and strengthen our relationships. We also encourage church members to reach out wherever God is leading through agencies and ministries, and to participate on short-term mission trips beyond our Distributed Journeys.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” [Acts 1:8]

Northland's mission trips are dubbed Distributed Journeys because as a church we believe we are called to distribute ourselves and our gifts outside of the church, into the community and around the world.  We believe that in the process God will shape us, teach us, and lead us on a personal journey with Him also. If you are considering serving on a Distributed Journey, trust God and pray earnestly asking Him to show you how He can lead you and work through you in a place far removed from your comfort zone.
